Techads attaches great importance to the discreet handling of personal data. Personal data of both all parties involved is carefully processed and secured. In doing so, Techads complies with all the requirements set by the Data Protection Act for the processing of personal data. .Customer data capture and processing
We only store and use the personal data that is provided directly by you or that is clear when you provide it to us in order to use our services. You can also request access, change or delete the (personal) data known to us about you yourself. For this, see our contact details at the bottom of this document.
Big Data
Techads obtains Big Data through an international partnership with so-called AdExChanges. Here, Techads collaborates with parties such as Appnexus, Rubicon, Linkedin, Microsoft and many more. These parties only collect the data that the end user has agreed to share. This is in line with European privacy guidelines. Techads then collects this data and uses it for the campaigns. By using advanced algorithms, we can reach the right people very accurately. The filters used work per 1000 users. In this way, we do not have access to the exact data of individual users.
Personal data security
Techads uses strict security procedures, including to prevent unauthorized access to personal data. To do this, we use secure connections (Secure Sockets Layer of SSL) that protect all information that is exchanged between you and our website.
DPIA
We organize our processing with attention to privacy optimalities. The GDPR requires us to process personal data in accordance with principles such as privacy-by-default and privacy-by-design. This is how we ensure that personal data is not collected or shared unnecessarily. In fact, this is arranged in such a way that we do not have copies of data, but only use from specified parties.
We carry out and provide a Data Protection Impact Assessment for campaigns in all segments. This way, we ensure that we know the processing adequately at its risks and can minimize risks. We also advise our customers to always go with the DPIA before starting a campaign.
